Garment Care

At SSS Manchester Ltd, we want your uniforms and sports wear to last as long as possible. With proper care, you can keep your garments looking and feeling great, even after repeated use. Here are some tips to help you care for your uniforms and sports wear:

Washing

Always read the care label on your garments before washing them. Most of our uniforms and sports wear are machine-washable, but some may require special care. Wash your garments in cold water with like colors to prevent bleeding. Avoid using bleach, which can damage the fabric and cause discoloration. When washing uniforms with embroidery or screen printing, turn them inside out to prevent damage to the design.

Drying

Tumble dry your garments on low heat or hang them to air dry. Avoid using high heat, which can shrink the fabric and damage the design. When drying uniforms with embroidery or screen printing, hang them to dry or lay them flat to prevent damage to the design.

Ironing

Iron your garments on low heat, following the care label instructions. Be careful when ironing uniforms with embroidery or screen printing, as high heat can damage the design. If necessary, iron these garments inside out or use a pressing cloth to protect the design.

Stain Removal

Treat stains as soon as possible to prevent them from setting in. For most stains, a simple pre-treatment with a stain remover or laundry detergent will do the trick. For tougher stains, try using a mixture of water and vinegar or baking soda. Avoid using bleach, which can damage the fabric and cause discoloration.

Storage

Store your garments in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight. Hang them on hangers or fold them neatly to prevent wrinkles. Avoid storing them in plastic bags, as this can trap moisture and cause mildew.

By following these simple care instructions, you can keep your uniforms and sports wear looking great for years to come. If you have any questions about caring for your garments.
